The Whitestown Parks and Recreation team celebrated the opening of Jackson Run Park today, Tuesday, July 2 for the community to enjoy 22-acres of playground, park and amenities.
The Whitestown Parks and Recreation Department announced that the Jackson Run Park officially opened today at 2816 Grassy Branch Drive in Whitestown with numerous features spanning 22 acres, including climbing structures, a variety of slides and swings, interactive musical instruments, a large play truck climber, open greenspace and a walking trail.
The park was constructed with a nature-themed playground in mind, surrounded by picnic tables, a small walking trail in the shape of a horseshoe and on-site parking alongside its other amenities.
