The Rossville Hornets traveled to Adams Central on Saturday for the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Team State Tournament.
Rossville was joined by 11 of the top wrestling teams in class 1A, including Adams Central, North Miami, and Rensselaer Central.
The Hornets drew East Side in their first match of the day. The Hornets were narrowly defeated 40-39.
Winners for Rossville were Noah Stingley, Luke Weaver, Dylan Lynch, Jacob Weaver, Jacob Cole, Noah Weaver and Nathan Freeman.
In the consolation bracket, the Hornets defeated Milan 46-33. Winners for the Hornets were Noah Stingley, Will Roberts, Dylan Lynch, Jacob Moss, Jacob Weaver, Jacob Cole, Noah Weaver and Nathan Freeman.
The Hornets took on Switzerland County in the consolation final and defeated them 45-31 to earn ninth. Winners for Rossville were Donovan Storey, Will Roberts, Dylan Lynch Jacob Moss, Jacob Weaver, Jacob Cole, Evan McDonald, Noah Weaver and Nathan Freeman.
The Hornets will close out the regular season with a match at Delphi on Wednesday before gearing up for the Hoosier Heartland Conference Meet on Jan. 25.
