Rossville Elementary School announced its 2025 Kindergarten Roundup dates for Wednesday, March 6 and Friday, March 29 for community members to visit the school that is looking forward to welcoming future Hornets as they begin their educational journey.
Families with children who will be five years old by Aug. 1 are invited to attend on March 6 or March 29 during the school day. The event will occur in the Auditorium Lobby, and parents must contact Rossville Elementary at 765-379-2119 to schedule an appointment.
Rossville Schools welcomes both in-district and transfer students to participate in Kindergarten Roundup. This event provides families with an opportunity to explore the district and determine if Rossville is the best fit for their child. Information about the transfer process is available on the district’s website at rcsd.k12.in.us. Additionally, Rossville Schools does not charge tuition or textbook fees.
Families with children ages 3 to 5 who may be interested in Rossville’s preschool program for the 2025-2026 school year are also encouraged to contact the school for more information. The Rossville teachers, including Preschool teacher Shania Dearinger and Kindergarten teachers Emily Heater, Leila Kempinski and Alisha Maish, look forward to welcoming new students.
