Mulberry Continues To Collect Solar Eclipse Glasses, Works To Reschedule Electronic Recycling Day

The Town of Mulberry is still accepting solar eclipse glasses community members utilized for the eclipse on April 8 that will be re-distributed to communities in South America for their upcoming solar eclipse.

The town released that community members have already recycled over 50 pairs of eclipse glasses to be re-distributed. Glasses will be accepted at 123 S. Glick St. in Mulberry until April 23 at the Town Hall.

Community members may utilize the drop box at the Town Hall for their convenience.

The town also announced that the electronic recycling company that was planned to visit the town last Saturday, April 13, was not available during the scheduled time, and the town is currently working with the company to solidify a rescheduled date for the event.
