Meridian Health Services will be hosting a back-to-school fit fair for the community and school-aged children to receive information and resources to inspire a focus on fitness, health, education and fun as they prepare to enter the 2024-2025 school year.
The event will kick off in one week on Thursday, Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Frankfort High School at 1 S. Maish Rd. in Frankfort with a ribbon cutting set for 1 p.m. in partnership with Meridian Health Services.
Attendees will be invited to explore the new location of Meridian Health Services across the street from Frankfort High School at 50 S. Maish Rd. in Frankfort with a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m. with the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, free blood pressure screenings and a live remote and music with WILO 96.9 FM, 1570 AM and Boone 102.7 FM.
Free food and drinks will be available from Chubby Burgers while supplies last, and the first 200 attendees will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. Sports physicals will also be offered through the Meridian School-Based Health Clinic for $10 during the event.
