LTHC Homeless Services located in Lafayette, serving surrounding counties including Clinton and Carroll counties, has issued a request for donations for homeless community members as the temperatures continue below freezing.
“On this snowy day, many in our community are braving the cold without the comfort they deserve,” the organization released yesterday, Jan. 14. “We’re urgently requesting hand warmers to help keep our neighbors facing homelessness warm this winter.”
Donations of hand warmers may be dropped off at Door #4 on 13th Street in Lafayette from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hand warmers may also be purchased directly from the organization’s Amazon list, which can be found here.
