Lebanon FFA Members Thrive At 2024 Indiana State FFA Convention

The Lebanon FFA members excelled during the 2024 Indiana State FFA Convention last week with numerous individuals and a team claiming a State winner title.

During the convention, members of the Lebanon FFA spent the week competing in leadership and career development events while networking with other chapters across the state and continuing to build their leadership skills, and numerous members placed highly in varying competitions to garner coveted titles.

The Lebanon FFA saw state agriscience winners in Lauren Argotte and Claire Larson who will continue to compete at nations as well as the state discovery ag issues winning team of Garrett Adams, Claire Larson, Madeline LePlae, Amellia Spencer and Leah Ziats.

The team of Addit Hand, Owen Bigler, Lauren Argotte and Bre Stratton placed second in food science, and the team of Bre Stratton, Owen Bigler and Lauren Argotte placed fourth in ag marketing.

Fourth place finishers also included Bre Stratton for employability and Kira King for premier leadership. Lauren Argotte was named as a Hoosier Degree recipient and was named as the District IV newly elected FFA President.

The convention also saw numerous other Tigers compete in the agriscience competition, including Elli Fortner, Brooks Johnson, Blake Argotte, Leah Ziats, Katie Boling, Mara Tribbett, Amellia Spencer, Jesse Acton, Garrett Adams, Juniper Spriggs, Madeline LePlae and JayLynn Bahney.

Others who participated in demonstrations included Jesse Acton, Blake Argotte, Addi Hand, Lauren Argotte and Bre Stratton.
