Indiana Department Of Homeland Security Offers Rebate For Safe Room Installation

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security has announced the launch of applications for the Residential Safe Room Program where applications will be accepted from today, July 1 through July 31 for residents eyeing the implementation of a safe room for storms in their residence.

The department announced that Hoosiers will be allowed to apply for a rebate to install safe rooms in their homes, and 25 randomly selected applications will receive the reimbursement, up to 75% of the cost with a maximum of $5,000, for the safe room installation.
