The Frankfort community has reported seeing a Black Hawk helicopter roaming around the downtown area, and Frankfort High School confirmed that the helicopter rides are an appreciation event for the Hot Dogs who have dedicated themselves to serve the county.
Sgt. Scottie Sloan has partnered with the Frankfort High School students to provide honorary travels through the air for their dedication to the Indiana National Guard recruiting class.
According to teachers from the high school, the National Guard recruiting class in the state of Indiana has been the largest this year, and the students have been able to board the Black Hawk helicopter in honor of their commitment.
