The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office announced around 12:40 p.m. today, Feb. 4 that drivers should avoid the area of Main Street and Hamilton Street in Delphi due to a car and train collision.
The department stated that only minor injuries were sustained in the crash.
The department stated that it is possible that all railroad crossings in Delphi are blocked at this time as the train remains stalled. Drivers are instructed to seek an alternate route around the train.
