Clinton County Genealogical Society Hosts ‘What Killed Your Ancestors?’ Presentation On March 25

The Frankfort Community Public Library has announced that it will host a “What Killed Your Ancestors?” presentation to help community members learn more about the health and medical experiences of their ancestors with medical historian Sarah Halter.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 25 at the Frankfort Community Public Library and will feature Halter who will talk about where community members may find historical medical information and how to interpret the information they locate.

Halter is the executive director at the Indiana Medical History Museum, which is located on the grounds of the former Central State Hospital in Indianapolis. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Southern Association for the History of Medicine and Science and is a member of the John Shaw Billings History of Medicine Society at the Indiana University School of Medicine, the Center for Ray Bradbury Studies at IU Indianapolis and the Youth Enhancement and Training Initiative.
