Carroll Consolidated School Corporation has announced that a dentist will be visiting the corporation on April 22 to provide dental care for students who wish to participate.
The school stated that School Smiles will visit the corporation on April 22 to provide on-site dental care for all students that sign up to participate, and the dental team will be accepting Medicaid, private insurance, self-pay rates and grants through their foundation.
Registration is currently open for parents to sign up their student at schoolsmiles.com/student-signup, and the registration is equipped with over 100 languages to choose from when completing the online form.
The program may include cleaning, fluoride treatment, x-rays, sealants, fillings, crowns and extractions, and the program is expected to be available to students for no cost who are covered by Medicaid and grant approvals.
