The Camden Jackson Township Fire Department announced the recipient of the Firefighter of the Month designation for June.
The department announced that the June Firefighter of the Month is Assistant Chief Jason Cree, who has been serving on the department and serving the township for 19 years with numerous certifications that allow for him to implement specialized care and response in his work for the community.
According to the department, Cree has obtained certifications in Instructor 1, Instructor 2, Paramedic, Rope Technician, Hazmat Technician, Swift Water Rescue, Fire Investigator and many more. During his time with the department, Cree has also served as a full-time firefighter for Westfield Fire as well as being an active National Guard 1st Sergeant.
Cree lives within the Town of Camden with his wife, Emily, and their two kids, where Cree serves his family, friends and neighbors through his dedication to the fire department every day.
