Boone County Sheriff’s Office Receives $3,000 Donation For K-9 Unit

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit reported the receipt of a donation to help support the K-9 partners at the department continue to protect themselves during instances of high risk in the field.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit reportedly received a generous donation of $3,000 from Energy Transfer/Panhandle Eastern Pipeline to directly support the department’s K-9 partners, including Kylo and Rikko, to ensure that the two trained cancines receive the best protection possible while protecting and serving the Boone County community.

“A huge thank you to Energy Transfer/Panhandle Eastern Pipeline for their unwavering support in keeping our community safe.”

The donation was received by the department on Monday evening on April 22.
