Second graders at Blue Ridge Primary School recently found a creative way to show appreciation for the educators and staff members who make a difference in their lives every day.
Students spent the month drawing pictures of their favorite teacher or staff member, pouring their hearts into each colorful creation. From classroom teachers to support staff, the artwork reflected the strong connections built inside the school’s walls.
The project served as more than just an art activity — it was a reminder of the powerful impact educators have on young learners. Each drawing captured not only smiling faces and bright colors, but also gratitude, admiration, and love.
School officials with Community Schools of Frankfort said the project highlighted the culture of appreciation within the district.
“This project was clearly a labor of love and truly reminds us of the impact our teachers and staff have on students each and every day,” the district shared in a recent post.
The initiative reflects the district’s commitment to “Hot Dog Excellence” and putting community first — values that continue to shine through in classrooms across Frankfort.
For the students, it was a simple but meaningful way to say thank you. And for teachers and staff, the heartfelt drawings were a touching reminder of why they do what they do.
