Troopers assigned to the Indiana Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force have arrested a man for possession child sexual abuse material.
The investigation began in Pennsylvania when a father discovered sexual abuse material on his child’s social media account. The Pennsylvania State Police was contacted and began an investigation. The investigation led to a suspect in Pittsboro Indiana who investigators believed was sharing the material with the child. The case was transferred to the Indiana State Police ICAC Task Force.
ICAC Detectives worked through the forensic evidence, leading them to a suspect who resides in Pittsboro Indiana. Detectives applied for and were granted appropriate search warrants related to this case. September 16, 2026, 24 year old James Hollaway was detained at his place of employment. Further investigation led to the arrest of Hollaway, he was transported to the Hendricks County Jail and incarcerated.
All suspects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court. All criminal actions mentioned in this release are alleged. The charges listed are preliminary, actual charges will be determined by the Hendricks County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Indiana ICAC is a multiagency task force led by the Indiana State Police that investigates and prosecutes persons who use the internet to sexually exploit or entice children. Each year, Indiana ICAC investigators evaluate thousands of tips, investigate hundreds of cases, and rescue dozens of children from ongoing sexual abuse.
