Excitement continues to build for the 110th running of the after officials confirmed the race has officially sold out all grandstand seating for the second consecutive year.
The sellout marks a major milestone for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with more than 230,000 grandstand seats filled ahead of race day. General admission infield tickets are also nearing capacity, with this year’s crowd expected to be among the largest in recent history.
There is also discussion surrounding a possible schedule adjustment, including a potential one-hour earlier start time to accommodate crowd flow and broadcast timing. No official change has been confirmed at this time.
The Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 24 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
