The Frankfort Parks Department has announced that the TPA Park petting zoo and aviary will now be closed during the weekdays with special opening times on the weekends until Labor Day.
The department released that the petting zoo and aviary will be operating only on the weekends for the public to enjoy with hours set from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. A special opening time will be scheduled for Monday, Sept. 2 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Labor Day.
Following the Labor Day opening, the petting zoo and aviary will be closed for the season.
“Enjoy the last few weekends left with our wonderful animals,” the department released.
