Thomas Little has officially filed to run in the 2026 Republican Primary Election for Clinton County Superior Court, according to the Committee to Elect Thomas Little for Judge.
A lifelong Clinton County resident, Little graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1996 before earning a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar and the Northern and Southern Federal Districts of Indiana in 2012.
Little has practiced law for over thirteen years in Clinton County and throughout Indiana, gaining experience in civil and criminal litigation, family law, probate and estate matters, municipal and business law, administrative law, bankruptcy, and appellate work. Since 2013, he has also served as Clinton County Attorney, working closely with local government officials, boards, and departments—a role the Committee says gives him valuable insight into how courts intersect with county operations.

Little also emphasizes the importance of encouraging the next generation of legal professionals to serve in smaller communities. He supports outreach with local schools and youth programs to educate students about the legal system and careers in public defense, prosecution, and family law—fields that are increasingly difficult to staff in rural counties.
The Committee highlighted Little’s strong work ethic and experience managing demanding caseloads, noting his commitment to timely rulings, clear communication, and respectful courtroom procedures. Central to his judicial philosophy is fairness, impartiality, and appropriate courtroom temperament, ensuring litigants feel heard and respected throughout the process.
Finally, Little supports continued improvements in court efficiency and accessibility, including better docket communication, coordination with county offices, and modernization efforts as courthouse renovations progress.
