Dr. Jenner will deliver an address on the current and future direction of education in Indiana, offering insight into policy priorities and initiatives shaping both K–12 and higher education. Following her remarks, she will join Clinton County’s five public school superintendents for a panel discussion that will highlight local perspectives and the challenges and opportunities facing schools across the county.
About Dr. Katie Jenner
Appointed in 2021 as Indiana’s first Secretary of Education, Dr. Jenner has led statewide efforts to strengthen career pathways, expand early learning opportunities, and support educators. In 2025, she was named Commissioner for Higher Education, where she continues her work to ensure that Indiana students are prepared for success after graduation—whether entering the workforce, pursuing postsecondary education, or serving their communities. With a background as a teacher, administrator, and senior advisor to the governor, Dr. Jenner brings both experience and vision to Indiana’s education system.
