Jamestown Christian Church will be hosting its Giving Tree Ministry food pantry throughout the month of August to aid those in the Jamestown community with acquiring food.
The August giving tree will be open today, Thursday, Aug. 8 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 11 E. Main St. in Jamestown.
For August and September, The Giving Tree is in need of cake mixes and icing, pork and beans, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter and jelly, canned meats, shampoo and bath soaps. Donations may be dropped off at 11 E. Main St. when the pantry is open.
