Sue Ellen McClain, 74, of rural Frankfort, passed away December 27, 2025 at her home. She was born February 13, 1951 in Lebanon, IN to Carl & Barbara (Wagoner) Fearrin. She married Roger McClain on May 12, 1973 in Frankfort and he survives.
Sue was a 1969 graduate of Thorntown High School and had lived in Frankfort since 1973. She worked as a cashier for Wal-Mart. Sue enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Sue is survived by her husband, Roger of rural Frankfort, sons, Matt (Brooke) McClain of Palmyra, NY, Mark (Lydia) McClain of Michigantown, sister, Jeanette Maynard of Lakeland, FL, brother, Joe Fearrin of Spring Hill, FL, 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Isabelle, Audrey, Cynthia, Jocelyn & Preston and 1 great-grandson, Cyrus Powell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Poole.
