Saundra Sue Timmons, 89, of Frankfort passed away September 19, 2026 at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville. She was born on May 21, 1937 to Loyd D. and Lucille M. (Jarvis) Hankins. She married Richard “Dick” L. Timmons on July 13th, 1954, and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2022.
Sue was a 1955 graduate of Colfax High School. She owned and operated a grocery store in Colfax for years. She owned R&R Meat Processors near Colfax for over 20 years. She also operated R&R Catering for several years. She was a member of Colfax Christian Church.
Surviving are her sons: Alan Timmons of Frankfort and Greg (Lisa) Timmons of Coatesville; her grandchildren: Derek, Dylan, Ashley (Kacy), and Allyson, her step-grandchildren: Katie and Luke; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Mary Lou Norton, and brothers: Teddy H. Hankins and Devon “Charlie” Hankins.
A private family graveside will be held. Goodwin Funeral Home and the Clinton County Crematory are honored to assist the Timmons family.
