The Russiaville Amvets Post 27 has announced its upcoming chili cook-off fundraiser set for this Saturday, Feb. 8 in Russiaville for a chance to win a cash prize and raise funds for the organization’s dedication to serving veterans and their families in Howard, Clinton, Carroll and Tipton counties by supporting veteran counseling services.
The Amvets Post 27 chili cook-off fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jeff Stout Community Center at 650 N. West St. in Russiaville. Community members may enter a crockpot of chili for $10 as they vie for the first-place prize of $125 and the second-place prize of $100.
Community members who do not wish to participate by cooking may be a judge with all-you-can-eat chili options for $10 for adults or $5 for children.
