Russells Rumble Raises Funds For Special Needs Children In Clinton County On Sunday, Aug. 11

The annual Russells Rumble event will race off on Sunday, Aug. 11 in Frankfort to help raise funds for the Arc of Clinton County and its mission to provide resources and aid for the special needs community within Clinton County.

Russell’s Rumble was established in honor of Russell Lawrence “Bowser” Williams, 28, of Norfolk, Virginia, who was formerly a citizen of Frankfort, who was tragically killed on May 25, 2023. Due to Williams’ passion for helping children with special needs, Russells Rumble was established to keep his legacy alive and continue his passion “for the kids.”

On Sunday, Aug. 11, community members are invited to participate in the escorted bike ride beginning and ending at TPA Park in Frankfort. Sign in begins at 11 a.m. with kick stands up at 12:30 p.m. at the park. The cost of participation will be $20 per bike and $5 for passengers with the proceeds benefiting the Arc of Clinton County and the special needs children of the county.

The event will also host the ability to receive t-shirts for Russells Rumble, participate in a 50/50 raffle, explore an auction and enjoy food.
