The Rossville Hornets defeated the Clinton Prairie Gophers 60-32 on Friday in the Hoosierland TV Game of the Week.
The Hornets led wire-to-wire, holding a double-digit advantage for most of the game. After the first quarter, Rossville led 14-3.
The Gophers found some offense in the second. Between Nick Ewing and Xander Dean, Clinton Prairie was able to score, but couldn’t slow down the Rossville attack on the other end.
Brayden Thiele-Hahn led the way with 11 first-half points, giving the Hornets a 30-14 lead at the break.
In the second half, Clinton Prairie hung around, cutting the lead to 35-24, but never got closer than that.
The Hornets controlled the rest of the way and won 60-32.
Thiele-Hahn was named The Farmers Bank Player of the Game, finishing with 16 points and nine rebounds.
The Hornets are 16-4 and finish their conference schedule with a 6-2 record.
Clinton Prairie fell to 5-13, with two conference matchups left on the schedule.
