Rossville Schools Conducts Lockdown Drill Today, Feb. 21

Rossville Consolidated School District announced that it will conduct a lockdown drill today, Friday, Feb. 21 as part of the ongoing student and staff safety commitment.

The drill is a standard procedure that intends to ensure that every student, staff member and school affiliate in the community is prepared for emergencies should they arise.

During the drill, the school will use blue strobe lights and a repetitive alert over the PA system to signal the lockdown. No actors, props or simulated threats will be used during the exercise.

Student Services will be available to support any student needing assistance before, during or after the drill.
