River Lynn Mayfield, was welcomed shortly into this world by her parents, before being welcomed into the loving arms of her heavenly father on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at St. Vincent Ascension Hospital in Indianapolis. Her parents Omer and Janet “Katie” (Smith) Mayfield loved her deeply, as well her brother, Kris Smith and the rest of her family. The family appreciates all the love and support during this time. They are grateful for the respect given for the chance to grieve as a family in private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
