Spencer Dunn of Clinton Central took first place in the closed division at the Culver Academies Invitational on Saturday.
Dunn finished with a time of 16:59.6, six seconds faster than second place.

Clinton Central boys placed fifth as a team, finishing behind DeMotte Christian, Northwestern, Brown County and South Adams.
This is the first time a runner from Clinton Central has won the Culver Academies Invite, and it’s the first time since Frankfort’s Javier Vazquez in 2009 that a runner from Clinton County has won.
Clinton Central’s Carter Cline also finished in the top 20, placing 17th with a time of 17:57.
