Residents in Clinton, Carroll and Boone counties need to be aware of possible severe weather Thursday and into next week.
The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Clinton, Carroll and Boone Counties along with Tippecanoe, Montgomery, Tipton, Hendricks and Marion counties in central Indiana. Thunderstorms may return this afternoon into tonight with severe storms possible with damaging winds being the primary severe threat. Heavy rain and lightning can be expected with any thunderstorms.
Daily storm chances will continue through next Wednesday with some severe storms possible with damaging winds, lightning and isolated flooding possible.
