Reports of a vehicle that collided with a pole near the Family Express gas station on Rossville Avenue and Kyger Street in Frankfort were received around 9 a.m. this morning, caused by a medical condition.
Reports stated that the pole snapped, but reported power outages due to the incident have not been received as of 10 a.m. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area due to the state of the pole and possible power line issues.
Further reports indicate that the driver may have been transported to a nearby hospital, and family members of the driver state that the cause of the crash was not due to reckless or impaired driving but rather a medical condition.
