Paula “Paulita” Myers, 80, of Frankfort, passed away April 10, 2026 at Wesley Manor. She was born June 28, 1945 in Donna, TX to Andres & Guillermina (Ramos) Ramirez. She married David L. Myers on December 1, 1978 and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2000.
Paula was a 1964 graduate of Hammond High School. She spent her early years in Hammond and moved to Frankfort in 1972. She worked for Zachary Confections for 11 years. Paula is a member of the Christian Life Church, teaching Sunday school for 18 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, loved her church and helping wherever she could.
Paula is survived by her siblings, Oscar (Shelly)Ramirez of Crown Point, Jimmy (Judy) Ramirez of Crown Point, IN, Harry Ramirez of Chicago, IL, Ofelia Garcia of Bensenville, IL, Mary (Hubert) Lopez of Hammond, Yolanda Ramirez of Hammond and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she is preceded in death by siblings, Antonia Ramirez, Olga Kwolek, Gonzalo Ramirez, Virgil Ramirez, Hector Ramirez and Pablo Ramirez.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the Christian Life Church, 2501 E. Wabash St., Frankfort, IN. Memorial donations may be made to Christian Life Church Missions.
