Clinton County football teams learned who were their first-round opponents will be in the Indiana High School Athletic Association football playoffs Sunday evening.
In Class 4A, top-ranked Kokomo comes to Frankfort for a contest in Sectional 20. Kokomo is currently 8-0 after a 48-6 thrashing of Richmond Friday night and have scored 40 or more points in all but two of its games this season.
Frankfort is currently 1-7 following Friday’s 54-6 loss to North Montgomery,
The winner of this game plays the winner of the Western at Jay County in week 2 of the playoffs.
In Class A, Clinton Prairie plays Park Tudor at home while Clinton Central journeys to Traders Point Christian in Sectional 42. Both Prairie and Park Tudor are 5-3 on the season while Traders Point is 4-4.
Also in Class A, unbeaten Carroll opens at North White in Sectional 43 and Sheridan hosts Union City in Sectional 45. Sheridan is 7-1 on the year.
All these games will likely be played Friday, October 21, at 7 p.m.
