Norman Lee Gross, 85, of Frankfort, passed away January 15, 2025 at Wesley Manor.  He was born December 27, 1939 in Dayton, OH to Carroll Vernon & Elizabeth (Byrd) Gross.  He married Sherry Lynn Peach and they divorced.  He then married Isabel Ann Robey on November 6, 1992 in Houston, TX and she survives.

Norm had lived all over the country, spending most of his years in Houston, TX before moving to Frankfort in 2005.  He had worked for Boeing Aircraft right out of high school and then retired on September 30, 2000 from Dresser Industries after 41 years.  He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.  Norm was the Committee Coordinator for the workshop at Wesley Manor, and was a board member of Friends of the Manor.  He went on mission trips with his wife Ann to London and Wales, and formed “RoGro” with Ann, entertaining at nursing homes with Gospel singing.  Norm loved woodworking and building and repairing model airplanes.

Norm is survived by his wife, Ann, of Frankfort, daughter, Kimber Lee Gross of Texas, son, Kevin Lee Gross of Houston, TX, step-daughter, Beth Ann Kalasmiki of Davis, IL, step-son, David James (Mary) Hallman of LaGrange Park, IL, grandson, Brandon Lee Gross of Texas and 2 step-grandchildren, Christian Hallman and Ryan Hallman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Brian Neal Gross, Vernon Claude Gross, Forrest Gross, Melvin Gross, sisters, Pamela Pearl Hall and Ruth Darlene Gerasi.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 12 Noon, Monday, January 20, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Services will begin at 12 Noon Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Graham Ministry, Samaritan’s Purse, P.O.
