Nancy Louise Walker, 74, of Monticello, died November 28, 2024 at Monticello Healthcare, Monticello, IN. She was born February 17, 1950 in Frankfort to Meredith Walker and Mary (Mohler) Walker. She married Ralph Walke
r on July 18, 1971 and he survives.
Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Clinton Central High School, then received her BA and Masters from Ball State University. She taught first grade and preschool at Clinton Central, then Lebanon and Delphi School Corporation at Camden Elementary. She previously attended Kirklin Christian Church and was a member of the Country Charmers Home Ec. Club. Nancy played the piano, enjoyed snow skiing, boating, bird watching and playing cards.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Ralph Walker of Monticello, son, Kevin (Jessica) Walker of Forest, daughter, Candie (Steve) McAllister of Fort Myers, FL, sister, Betty Walker of Bend, OR, and 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Sophia and Isabella Walker of Forest.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carol Unger and step-mother, Eva Mae Walker.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St. Frankfort. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 8th at the funeral home.
