Michigan Township Fire Celebrates Firefighters For Years Of Service

Members of the Michigan Township Volunteer Fire Department were celebrated in October for their years of service with the organization, including a department member who surpassed the 50-year mark for his service.

At the monthly meeting in October, four members were awarded with a pin from the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association for a minimum of 10 years served with the organization, five members were presented with a pin for a minimum of 25 years served with the organization and one member received his gold card for serving the Michigan Township and Clinton County community for 50 years as a volunteer firefighter.

Dave Ingram was a man of high honors during the ceremony, where he was awarded with his 50-year gold card, a coveted recognition of service for the volunteer fire department.
