Marvin Richard Glass, Sr.,90, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born September 7, 1936, in Wisdom, Kentucky to LeMore and Eva Mae (White) Glass. He married Edna Richardson and they later divorced and preceded him in passing. He then married Donna Hall; she preceded him in passing. Later he married Darlene Earl, and she preceded him in passing.
Marvin was a graduate of Little Jefferson High School in 1954. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam War. He worked for Jules Simon and Schmid Products and later at Wal-Mart for several years. He enjoyed watching sports, gardening, and painting garden statues. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels.
Marvin is survived by his son, Marvin Richard (Vicki Johnson) Glass, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Glass; stepchildren, Rick (Leila) Hall, Ray (Jen) Hall, Penny (Kim) Spurling, and Rhonda Hall; two grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Along with his wives; Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Mark Glass.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4-6pm at Day and Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Per Marvin’s wishes, a cremation will follow and his ashes will be buried with his loved ones. Memorial contributions may be made in Marvin’s honor to Wounded Warriors Foundation.
