Lebanon Tigers Road To The Sectional Finals Kicks Off Tonight At Wabash College

The Lebanon High School girls’ tennis sectional schedule has been released by the Indiana High School Athletic Association beginning tonight.

During the quarterfinals match tonight, Tuesday, May 14 at 5 p.m., the Lebanon Tigers will face off against North Montgomery for the chance to move into the semi-finals. Lebanon High School announced that the match will be moved from Crawfordsville High School to Wabash College tonight at 601 Milligan St. in Crawfordsville for the teams to play indoors. The facility has three-row bleachers for fans, but fans are also allowed to bring lawn chairs.

For the semi-finals, two matches will commence with the second match of the series kicking off on Wednesday, May 15 at 5 p.m. between Western Boone and Southmont for the chance to secure a finals slot. The third match of the series will kick off on Wednesday, May 15 at 5 p.m. between Crawfordsville and the winner of the first match between the Lebanon Tigers and North Montgomery for the chance to move into the finals.

The finals match will commence on Thursday, May 16 at 5 p.m. between the victor of the second match and the victor of the third match, ending with the presentation of sectional champion for one team.

The Lebanon Tigers have a long road ahead of them as they will be required to play a minimum of three matches to secure the sectional title while Western Boone, Southmont and Crawfordsville received the first-round bye to head directly into the semi-finals.

All of the tennis sectional matches will be played at Crawfordsville High School with the exception of Lebanon and North Montgomery tonight, Tuesday, May 14.
