The Indiana Department of Transportation announced the implementation of temporary closures of the left lanes of U.S. 52/Sagamore Parkway just southeast of Lafayette as work began on Monday, Aug. 5 in the area.
The department stated that the work is taking place between Veterans Memorial Parkway and County Road 400 South where crews will install turn lanes between August and early November as weather permits.
The department encouraged drivers to utilize caution when traveling through the area and expect possible delays due to the closures.
