On May 30th, 2026, 16-year-old Nevaeh E. McKinney (Kokomo) was reported as a runaway to the Kokomo Police Department. Nevaeh was last seen at her residence in the 4900 block of Kickapoo Drive in the Indian Heights neighborhood. Nevaeh had reportedly left a note prior to leaving stating she would return home shortly but never came back.
Detectives with the KPD Criminal Investigation Section have actively been seeking leads and conducting follow-up investigation in attempt to locate Nevaeh. As of this press release, Nevaeh has yet to be located.
Nevaeh is a white female, approximately 5’2 tall, weighing approximately 110lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. Nevaeh might be wearing eyeglasses, and she has a piercing in her right nostril.
Nevaeh’s birthday was on September 20th, so she is now 17 years old.
Nevaeh has been reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and investigators are partnering with the United States Marshals Service.
Investigators continue to ask the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of Nevaeh E. McKinney.
