Kathy A. Crouse, 72, of West Lafayette, was called home December 22, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN, due to complications from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was born August 29, 1953 in Frankfort, IN to James E. Crouse and Doris R. (Van Arsdel) Crouse.
Kathy graduated in 1971 from Twin Lakes High School in Monticello, IN and held BA & MA in music from Ball State University and her MS in Library Science from Indiana University. She had worked at the Monticello Public Library, Tipton County Public Library, Dynex Library Systems Orem, UT, Richardson School System Book Depository, Richardson, TX, and Salt Lake City County Public Library, Salt Lake City UT, retiring from there. She participated in Bell Choirs in Tipton, IN; Richardson, TX; and Salt Lake City, UT and she made several concert trips to England, Scotland, and Ireland.
Kathy is survived by brother Thomas Crouse of Virginia Beach, VA and his wife Barbara (Chichwak) Crouse, 1 niece, 1 nephew, 2 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
