Judith Ann McGill (Crutchfield), 81, of Frankfort, passed away at home on March 6, 2026.  Judy was born to Glavis and Ruth (Fields) Crutchfield on May 12, 1944.  She married John D. McGill on July 10, 1957.  Together in 1969, maintaining a loving and supporting marriage as Jehovah’s Witnesses, they were both baptized.  They were devoted to one another for over 68 years, John survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Kathleen Cranfill and their 2 sons: Danny Joe and Nicky Lee.  Surviving is a daughter: Donna Mullins (spouse David), 2 daughters-in-law: Virginia McGill of Versallies, IN and Pamela McGill of Henryville, IN, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 8 step great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 1 step great-great-grandchild.

As a younger Judy, she loved roller skating and horses.  Being a young bride, she was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and making quilts and afghans. On cold winter days, she and friends would chat and do puzzles.  She started oil painting in the early 80’s and continued to participate in many community event selling her hand painted saw blades and slates.  She became well known for her talents expressed in her paintings.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Lafayette and at the very heart of her love was her devotion to her faith in Jehovah’s promise

 Revelation 21:3, 4

            3:  With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be His people.  And God Himself will be with them.

            4:  And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.  The former things have passed away.”
