Fun will be the key word Tuesday at TPA Park during the Fourth of July Celebration. There will be lots of vendors, food, drinks, music and entertainment throughout the day and evening starting at 10 a.m.
The day starts with Zumba and Pound Class beginning at 10 a.m. on the Main Stage.
Live music starts at 11 a.m. followed by Christine Kindred (2-3:30 p.m.), 90 Proof (4:30-6 p.m.)and The Time Travelers is 7-9 p.m. There is free admission, free parking plus free petting zoo and aviary. Sapphire Bay will resume normal pool hours 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The day wraps up with the Fireworks Show beginning at 10 p.m. Individuals are welcome to sit anywhere in the park and watch the show sponsored by the Frankfort Jaycees.
WILO’s Cindy Loveless will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to noon with sponsorship from the Frankfort Park Department with support from the City of Frankfort, and then again from 9 p.m. until the fireworks begin. The fireworks are sponsored by Wilson’s Farm Market, Home National Bank, Miller’s Body Shop and Lehnen’s Furniture and Mattress.
