Jeffery Allen Huffer, 61, of Frankfort, passed away October 2, 2025 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born on September 8, 1964 in Lafayette to Richard Doyle and the late Barbara Jean (Crider) Huffer. He married Cassandra Hudson on October 30, 2004 and she preceded him in death on October 18, 2022.
Jeffery was a 1983 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He was an artillery specialist in the United States Army from 1982 to 1984. He lived in Denver, Colorado for 16 years and was a machinist at Majestic Metals and worked as an industrial painter for Ball Aerospace. Jeffery was an avid sports fan and loved anything outdoors, especially fishing.
Surviving are his father: Richard Huffer of Hillisburg, children: Vincent Huffer, Nick Huffer, Madeline Rose Huffer, and Jacob Jeffery Huffer all of Denver, Colorado, sister: Dora (Greg) Russell of Michigantown, uncle: Roger Williams of Lafayette, 5 grandchildren, and his beloved cat: Dookie.
He was preceded in death by his mother and wife.
