Jacqueline “Jackie” J. (Jennings) Watts,

Jacqueline “Jackie” J. (Jennings) Watts, age 90, of Mulberry passed away peacefully at Mulberry Health on May 13, 2026. She was born September 24, 1935, in Warren County, Indiana to Lorin M. and Mable I. (Shields) Jennings. Jackie married Bernie Watts on June 11, 1977 and he preceded her in passing on October 20, 2006.

Jackie graduated from Pine Village High School in 1953. She went on to dedicate 18 years to office administration at Clinton County Hospital. Jackie was a former member of Manson Community Church and also volunteered her time at the hospital as a Pink Lady. She and Bernie shared a love for music and were members of the bluegrass band, Sugar Creek.

In her free time, Jackie could often be found playing Euchre or enjoying any kind of card game, usually while keeping everyone entertained with her quick wit and lively spirit. She was often described as a “character,” someone whose strong personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Jackie was feisty, fun-loving, and unforgettable.

Jackie is survived by her children, Amber Gay (Stephen) Forney and Jay (Cheryl) Pass; step-children, Eric and Bernie Watts Jr.; Siblings, Ronald Jennings, Mary Remster, and Carol Hogstrun; grandchildren, Erin (Brett) Rebb, Cara Forney, and Nathanael (Rebecca) Pass; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle and JT Shaw, as well as Evelyn and Samuel Pass.

Along with her parents and husband, Jackie is preceded in death by her brother, Lorin Jennings Jr. and brother-in-laws, Sam Remster and John Hogstrun.

A graveside service will be held May 31, 2026 at 2pm at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family encourages those who knew and loved Jackie to join them in celebrating her life at the Antioch Church from 3-4pm on May 31, 2026.
