Hoosiers won — and won big! And now airline partners at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) are ready to fly fans to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta to cheer on another Indiana University football victory.

American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines are adding a total of six round-trip specialty nonstop flights to Atlanta specifically for Friday’s big game. Counting additional returning options as well, IU fans will have 13 flights in all to choose from to get them to and from the big game.

While American does not have a standing nonstop route from Indy to Atlanta, the airline is making an exception for the Peach Bowl, adding a round-trip nonstop flight departing on Jan. 8 and returning on Jan. 10.

Delta is adding two specialty nonstop flights to Atlanta solely for the game, also departing on Jan. 8 and returning on Jan. 10.

Southwest is adding three specialty nonstop flights to Atlanta, departing on Jan. 8. Southwest will also offer four returning flights from Atlanta back to Indy on Jan. 10.

“This kind of activation is proof that strong relationships with our airline partners and knowing our Hoosier travelers is a winning combination,” said Maggie Cunningham, director of air service and airport experience at the Indianapolis Airport Authority. “This mix of additional flights provides more options – both outgoing and returning — to help Hoosier fans be onsite to cheer on the IU team to the next victory!”

Along with the additional specialty flights announced, Delta offers six nonstop flights per day to Atlanta from the Indy airport, and Southwest offers one nonstop flight per day.
