Indiana University Health officially released its community health needs assessment for the Arnett and Frankfort hospitals as it prepares to continue its service to the community in 2025.
The assessment found that for Frankfort, in 2022, 89.7% of hospital inpatient cases were from the local community, which leads the hospital to continue its focus on providing critical access services to the Clinton County community.
The report details the significant community health needs that it located during its development of the report, specifically in relation to access to healthcare services, aging population and needs of older adults, behavioral health, chronic disease prevention and management, maternal and infant health and child well-being, smoking, vaping and tobacco use and social determinants of health.

For the Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, the report showed that 80.8% of hospital inpatient cases were from the local community in 2022 with patients being served from Carroll, Clinton, Tippecanoe and White Counties. The report detailed its findings on the significant community health needs along the same parameters set forth in the Frankfort report.
