Earlier this year, IU Health Frankfort and White Memorial hospitals received a renewed Pathway to Excellence designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the teams rounded out 2024 with a celebration of the accomplishment.
The teams were treated to smiles and sweet treats during the holiday season in celebration of the accomplishment, which is a global credential that highlights hospitals’ commitment to creating a healthy work environment where nurses feel empowered and valued. West Central Region Magnet Program Coordinator Kathy Moon shared her thoughts on the accomplishment.
“It’s important because it gives us a playbook for nursing excellence with a key focus on ensuring that we support a culture that focuses on a positive practice environment, which in turn will lead to all-around better outcomes for staff and most importantly, our patients,” Moon said.
