ISP Troopers Arrest Two Wanted For Murder Near I-65 Tuesday Evening

Following the receipt of information regarding wanted individuals traveling through Tippecanoe County, troopers served two warrants on individuals from Illinois wanted for murder.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, Indiana State Police troopers from the Lafayette Post reportedly received information that two wanted individuals were traveling southbound a bus, which was located on State Road 43 near I-65. A traffic stop was conducted on the bus, and both individuals were safely taken into custody, authorities report.

The two subjects reportedly had active warrants for their arrest out of Illinois for murder, and they are both currently in custody.

No further information, including the names of the two individuals who were arrested, has been released by the Indiana State Police as of Feb. 6 at 3 p.m.
