Indiana State Police Announce 2026 Summer Camp Dates for Youth Across the State

The Indiana State Police, through Indiana Troopers Youth Services, have announced the dates and locations for their 2026 Indiana State Police Summer Camps, offering a variety of educational and leadership opportunities for students ranging from middle school through high school.

The summer camp programs are designed to promote character development, teamwork, and positive interactions with law enforcement while giving young Hoosiers hands-on experiences in leadership, law, and public safety.

Pioneer Camps (By Recommendation Only – Ages 11–14)

Pioneer Camps are available to youth who receive a recommendation and are designed to introduce participants to teamwork, responsibility, and personal growth.

  • Mounds Park Camp: June 8–11, 2026

  • Mollenhour Camp: June 29–July 2, 2026

Law Camps (6th, 7th, and 8th Grade)

Law Camps provide middle school students with an opportunity to learn about the legal system, law enforcement procedures, and civic responsibility.

  • Columbus Law Camp (Columbus): July 7–11, 2026

  • Anderson Law Camp (Anderson): June 28–July 1, 2026

Career Camps (High School Students)

Career Camps are designed for high school-aged students interested in careers in law enforcement or criminal justice.

  • Vincennes Career Camp (Vincennes): June 21–26, 2026

  • Trine Career Camp (Angola): July 5–10, 2026

  • Anderson Cadet Camp (Anderson): June 21–27, 2026

SHIELD Project

The SHIELD Project focuses on leadership and service, hosted at the college level.
